Martin's BBQ
Nashville takes insane pride of it's local restaurants, and especially its BBQ Joints. Martin's is not to be missed if you are ever in the mood for exceptional BBQ. The beef brisket burger, mac and cheese and a sweet tea is an absolute gem. Not recommended going on a jog afterwards.
Parthenon at Centennial Park
Built for the Centennial World Exposition in 1897, the Parthenon and the surrounding areas has recently been revamped featuring walking and running trails around a lake as well as a 40 foot Athena statue inside. The only exact Parthenon replica in the world.
Nelson's Green Briar Distillery
Before prohibition, this distillery was servicing millions of buyers around the world. Recently rediscovered, they have brought back their original recipe as well as adding their own flair. This has earned them multiple Double Gold Awards for their whiskey.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
West End and Elliston Place cover a large area that borders Music Row, Hillsboro, and Highway 70 roughly. Many residents love this area for its large green space, Centennial Park. This park houses the well-beloved replica of the Greek Parthenon. It is also an easy walk to many other vibrant neighborhoods in the city. Its close proximity to Vanderbilt University and many medical centers makes this a hub for many professionals.
