Cheekwood
Featuring 55 acres of botanical gardens and a stellar Historical Gilded Age Mansion. Built by fortune holders of Maxwell House Coffee, the mansion has been wonderfully restored and constantly features exhibits and shows. You could spend all day here and not see everything.
Percy Warner Park
2,600 plus acre park featuring well marked walking/ jogging/ biking trails. The massiveness of this park all while being so close to everything cannot be underestimated. A great way to relax and get your steps in for the day.
Nelson's Green Briar Distillery
Before prohibition, this distillery was servicing millions of buyers around the world. Recently rediscovered, they have brought back their original recipe as well as adding their own flair. This has earned them multiple Double Gold Awards for their whiskey.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Belle Meade, which means beautiful meadow, is a small city between Hillsboro and Harding Pike and bordered by Warner Parks and Woodmont Boulevard. Many of Nashville’s earliest wealthy families settled in Belle Meade, including the Cheeks of Maxwell House Coffee fame and the Hardings whose plantation lent the community its name. It’s a luxurious community and sits just a few miles south of downtown Nashville, making it ultra convenient for business people and socialites alike.
